Antonio Diaz vs. Marlon Thomas
Antonio Diaz is a good looking up and coming super lightweight. Last September, he stopped
Hector Quiroz in the 12th round, boy was that a hell of a fight!! Marlon was stopped the year earlier by the same Hector in the 2nd round. Hmmm.
What do you think? After going the distance with Juan Carlos Rodriguez last month, he's
ready for a stoppage.

Daniel Santos vs. Leonard Townsend
Santos is a well schooled Puerto Rican welterweight olympian. He's been smoking on his
rise up the ranks. He has natural power and good balance. At 6', he's tall for a welter.
By all means, Townsend is no slouch. with only a single loss in 30 some odd fights, he's
held his own. This will be the fight that puts him over the top. If he can.
I don't think he will. Santos has international experience, power and momentum on his
side. Santos killed a primed and ready Lovato two months ago. (as I predicted I might
add.)

Erik Morales vs. Juan Carlos Ramirez
Eric is unstoppable. He stopped Junior Jones last September, he stopped Angel Chacon this
past Feb. The boy is hot. Ramirez will be stopped also, in a more than convincing fashion.
I would of enjoyed it even more if it were Wayne though . . .making excuses for losing to
Zaragoza in 97. LOSER. Oh, needless to say, Erik stopped Zargoza also, in 11, taking the
title Wayne gave up to Zaragoza. Perhaps it's better you pulled out due to injury, huh
Wayne?

Nestor Garza vs. Carlos Barreto
Garza is another little banger who is on a hot streak. Carlos has very little round
experience, and one would wonder why he's in a title match anyways? Carlos is a banger
too, no doubt. All wins by KO. That makes for MINIMAL round experience. Nestor will take
Carlos into the later rounds, then stop him.
Garza inside 10
Jorge Paez vs. Augie Sanchez
Alot of boxing fans I know don't like Jorge that much, but I've always been sold on Jorge,
and his clown like style. When I saw him take Calvin Grove's title away in 88 I thought he
was great. Grove made excuses, so they fought again 7 months later. Only this time, he
stopped Calvin in the 11th. Jorge is defending his IBA Americas junior lightweight, but
not this time. Since Oscar stopped him cold in the second round almost 5 years ago, Jorge
hasn't been the same. Augie is a young heavy hitter that will capitalize on Jorges
clowning.
Sanchez inside 10
Kevin Kelley vs. Enrique Jupiter
Kelly trying to resurrect his career will have to come up with a big win. Enrique has been
on a losing streak for the last year or two, the perfect opponent for Kelley. Enrique is not a household name, but I guess a win is a win. Unless he goes the distance . . . then Kevin looks worse!
Kelley inside 9
Michael Carbajal vs. Oscar Andrade
Michael will continue to pad wins against less than worthy opponents until he has the
chance to go prime time again. Expect an easy stoppage for Michael.
Carbajal inside 5
Hector Camacho, Jr. vs. Eduardo Perez
Hector has been looking pretty good in his last couple outings. I wouldn't expect this
night to be any different. By the way, who the hell is Eduardo Perez anyways?
Enough said.
